Ultimate Golf Giveaway

Osprey came to us with a huge challenge given the competitive environment in sports recreation.  Their direction was simple: they wanted us to get more golfers on their courses. With Michigan golfers having access to hundreds of courses in the area, we knew we had to do something totally different to attract them.  To achieve this goal, we put in place a campaign that would incentivize golfers to play Osprey Courses by giving away two round of golf for the price of one, all the while using hard hitting, humorous headlines that would get people talking, and keep the talking.

USA Today Print Ad Campaign

The ads seen here ran in USA Today and prompted the reader to visit a unique website where they had a chance to sign up for a giveaway worth $12,000 that included 4 sets of custom fitted Nike golf clubs, golf trips, lessons, etc. The goal of the giveaway was to build up their database with new names, addresses, phone numbers and email, as well as get people talking about Osprey.  Did it work? Osprey now has over 4,000 reasons it did.

Osprey tapped BluFish to help promote and brand their five golf properties to give them a distinctive, yet cohesive look. BluFish has developed a corporate brochure as well as a print campaign featuring breathtaking images of the upgraded Michigan courses as well as highlighting all of the other amenities each location offers. In addition to the corporate brochure and print campaign, BluFish designed a large display booth with a consistent message to visually capture golf show attendees and further explain why Osprey can now say, "We Are Michigan Golf."
