Kellogg Community College

KCC came to us with a unique problem. They were NOT looking to grow their enrollment, which took us by surprise.  With community colleges thriving, they simply wanted to stay in front of their target market with a general awareness campaign.  We created a very clean, smart campaign that not only kept the KCC name top of mind for higher ed seekers, it also positioned the College as a point of pride for each community they serve. In addition to the traditional mediums, we also used a guerilla tactic in the local mall to grab even more attention. Oh yeah, and enrollment went up another 3%. Sorry, we couldn't help it.

Guerilla

We decided to "step up" the creative with this idea.  To boost community ties with KCC, we adhered graphics with an uplifting message to the stairs the the Mall.  This was a can't miss message that reached their target audience every time they went shopping.  

Outdoor

The purpose of the outdoor was to highlight the convenience of KCC.  This particular board was placed strategically close to the campus, providing a fun play on the proximity of campus and also equivocating success with KCC.  

Print

As you can see, consistency is key.  The print look tied very closely together with the outdoor giving synergy to the campaign.  Although the headline is different, the target audience was sure to take away this was KCC because of the look established in the outdoor.

Guerilla

Growing brands is our business, and growing minds is KCC's.  This message was placed in community gardens near thier campus to not only show support for the community, but to engrain that KCC is able to bring out the best in it's students.
