BluFish Brings Statewide Recognition to Marshall Blues Fest with 2016 ADDY Win
Marshall, MI - In February, the 2016 ADDY Awards held in Grand Rapids honored the work of Michigan’s most talented creative teams by filling the UICA for a night of recognition, networking, and downright good advertising.
This year’s win for BluFish, a bronze award in the Out-of-Home category for the Marshall Blues Festival Outdoor campaign, was particularly important as it brought attention to an event that takes place right down the street from the BluFish office.
“Each year we make sure that we’re committed to supporting events within our local community. It’s great when the creativity that goes into promoting those events is recognized with a distinguished award like an ADDY,” Ryan Traver, Owner, says.
BluFish has handled marketing and advertising efforts for the festival for the past decade and has seen attendance steadily increase over the years as people from all over the state come to Marshall for a night of live music and free entertainment. This year’s festival will be held on June 25 and will feature headliner Thornetta Davis.
“All of the campaigns that we’ve developed for Blues Fest portray the fun that’s to be had at the event, through both the brilliant copy and the visual creative. This year’s campaign will be no exception, and we’re really looking forward to the event,” Traver says.
