Technology continues to grow and will always be an integral part of our day-to-day lives. However, that does not mean print media is dead. While we still love to create messages and print beautiful collateral and traditional media campaigns, we're always looking at ways to merge print with technology.
Augmented Reality is a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment with elements that are augmented by computer generated sensory input such as sound, video or graphics. With the help of AR technology, the information in our print media becomes interactive and digitally manipulable.
Olivet College Football asked us to incorporate technology into their football recruiting brochures in order to pique the interest of high school athletes by appealing to their passion for both football and smartphone apps. We did just that. Click on the link to view the 2016 football recruiting brochure incorporating original video footage, 3D graphics, and interactive links that appear over the printed brochure when scanned using an AR app.
